Air force/navy off white of course.
The edges of the pocket flaps have those typical Bet "creases" - but yeah they look quite old.
Ropes, I hated climbing ropes. We did the sand shtick (make like Marines and wade out up to our respective necks in full gear) at Michmoret for several hours. Then of course mizdar this and that to make sure all (and I mean ALL) the sand was out of everything. And then back into the water and running in the dry white sand, not the compacted wet sand. Must have made an impression on me because we rented a house at Michmoret Beach last summer.
Nothing to do with stress and fatigue; everything to do with the rope sliding off the top of my boot regardless of how tight I tried to lock one boot on the other; and always within a hand's reach of the top. Everything else including the 2 meter wall was a breeze.
Remember the 22,993 fallen, may their names forever be mentioned in the chronicles of Israel and their memory be blessed...
A total of 126 new names have been added to the list of Israel's fallen soldiers and terrorism victims in the past year. Israel now has 10,524 bereaved families who have lost 22,993 loved ones. The families include 2,396 orphans and 4,992 widows.
IDF soldiers stand at attention in front of the graves of IDF soldiers buried at Mt. Herzl, Israel's national military cemetery.
