Keep posting it till they become blue in the face.

I felt they should done the same thing with our fleet of Leopard 1's, instead of static displays outside RSL Clubs.

I had heard, although maybe its tongue in cheek, that a healthy amount of whinging and complaining to the recruiters can yield results. Would this help me attain a 97 rating need to attempt selection for the elite units?

Not 100% serious, but curious nonetheless.

    Cheers

The unit will kick you out when they find out you are colorblind (happened to one of my friends).

While what Amerikie says may be true (about being kicked out if you are CB,) don't take all the first answers and responses you get as the final word. You don't want to whinge and complain, but you do want to stand your ground and insist on explanations and on your ability to do or pass whatever needs to be passed. This is of course within limits. If your Hebrew sucks, then it sucks and you're not going to be able to hide it. You have to find the line between whining and being insistent. At the same time, despite what our mom's believe, you're not that special or exceptional; don't be such a standout that they start detesting you.

Out of curiosity; why go straight into the army as opposed to settling in and waiting a year?

    Sam,
You know that they won't draft you until you've been in Israel for a year unless you mail a request right?
What I did was a 6 month Hebrew Ulpan (on a kibbutz) and then towards the end, requested they draft me early.

Don't set your heart on any one unit. There are plenty of great units that don't care if you are colorblind. First you have to be selected!
