    look at the other photo

the instructor is almost level headed with the wall and you can clearly see the floor in front of the wall - the sand doesn't add any noticable hight and the instructor seem avarage hight considering the scale and other soldiers.
I'm 1.85 and it was the only thing I didn't have an easy time passing in the bahad 1 bohan maslul (which is the last one I did and remember vividly). It seemed in the 2 meters range as well, as it was definitely taller then my head.
Then they're just a bunch of girly-boy Nahal wannabes. When I was their age, we climbed that wall with two pakalim (M"K 77 and margamah 52), 2 Galils and did it both ways uphill in the snow, while laughing at Golani.

    Real Nahal **111 Strong.

I mentioned the pack in post #5174. Is that pack a piece of Smamit kit?

This guessing game seems fun so I will take a stab. Is there no chance the first photo could be "bird" 5101???

That looks like a lot of gear for a rescue or short duration direct action mission.

Great photos. Were/are you in the 'bat' or 'cat' unit? Or one of the 'others' in that group?

(if you don't want to go there I totally understand; security has to come first)

The Singapore Army uses a similar device, the ball in the link provided below should be the same but of an older model.

    This article is from 2005.

eyaron... I'd check that soldier's pulse
And try to edit and cover maps whenever you can. (Not that I could figure out that one anyway, too shaky.)

That pack is ridiculously uber. My educated guess would be a bird.
