    It looks like CAA an Israeli manufacturer made an excellent innovation with CD M4 magazines.

    More pictures, details and video

    I wonder if IDF will use them

    -Weight 190 g. So it adds 190 grams to each magazine's weight. This kind of **** adds up quickly, although that's the only problem I can see here.

    I think it is not too heavy. Consider a Magpul PMag with plastic follower is 140 g. .....

    I do not know the weight of a metal mag....

    The CD Mag is only 50g heavier = the weight of four 5.56 bullets...

    May be they are made from stronger / heavier polymer material.....

    I am looking to make Aliyah this year and I just turned 24 in November, is this too old to enlist in the IDF? I want to do something combat related.
