He said there were teams from all over the world, he mentioned working with Americans and Chinese, but not specifically Russians. But yeah, the guy on the right looks like wearing MChS uniform.

So you're a part of some sort of Armored homefront command brigade?

Question about homefront command SAR. My kibbutz familiy has a kid who's in homefront command SAR and he tells me he's 05, his kav is in Nablus and his unit does ambushes and arrests. Is this a lie or what because I was under the impression nothing short of 07 does any of that stuff.

I was in armor during my regular service, after our Magachs got retired our reserve unit was transfered to the HFC.

I know they serve in territories, but I have no idea what exactly they do.

(you can see on a number of the AH-64's there are little domes on one or each wing stub for Satcom, that is an Israeli specific upgrade)

Unfortunately my googling skills are either off today and there isn't too much information about the actual upgrades. Those launchers on the hardpoints as mentioned are probably for the Lahat or Spike. If upgrades are mentioned, it is at most a picture of a module or system or just an ID of some sort. Upgrades to the Ch-53 or Apache are covered a bit more.

The two below has to do with Elbit dealings with the US, it can be inferred that at least some systems developed by them make it into the IAF's helicopters. IAI & I believe Rafael at times also do similiar work with helicopters and aircraft, but you'll probably see IAI and Elbit being mentioned the most.

This is a recent article about an F-15 upgrade to the oldest models in their inventory, stuff is always going on but sometimes information can be a bit cryptic (on purpose of course)

Hope I was of some help.

A mountain near Nablus. It doesn't matter where. A raid is a raid. There's no way 05 can do that.

Even 03 do low risk arrests and "ambushes" on par with their line's level of exposure/danger. Which is categorized based on an operational rank of units needed to perform that "kav". Once they are on it, they'll do all that's needed and authorized by the territorial brigade command - op by op basis for anything more then shigrat batash..

Even artillery soldiers do raids, I saw armor guys doing Kav/line in Shavei Shomron like a year ago and they did all the stuff that came with it including raids inside the city of Nablus.

More often then not these raids end with nothing, not even rocks...even the mighty Nablus.
