Do you have any recollection of a Baptist African-American guy from Kansas City serving in Nahal during '85 - '86?
Just in my Kibbutz you had/have olim that served as fighter pilots, Helicopter pilots, Tank crews, Infantry, Artillery and jobnikim, they were from Mexico, Costa RIca, USA, Canada, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, South Africa and oddly Egypt. We had also a general that was born abroad.

The place is ok, and I got a nice tour there from a girl who was above averagely looking. Stop being negative.

Most air bases are open on Israeli independence day. Get a chance to see all the modern stuff. During my ulpan before the army I trekked over to Ramat David. They didn't allow any cameras in but being the sucker I am, I did anyways.

I tend to avoid the idea of going to Israel during a holiday celebration like that. I will just work down Araks and fvck a frecha and my girlfriend will not allow it, but thanks for the advice dude.

Now we're going further afield. I stuck with Yanquis because that's the question the thread began with. We had two guys who went Engineers, 1 Intel, and 1 Dover Tsahal, but all three began as kaf-lamedim in infantry. I think a lot of it came down to "what's the best return on investment with a 24 year old doing 18 months, with an option for 6 more?" This was still during Sheleg (Shalom L'Galil) and infantry were in demand.

Let's not, kid. I doubt the'd do that over a few pictures of aircraft that have been legally photographed thousands of times. All the sensitive stuff is locked safely away where nobody can see them but me

Luckily , you were in Givati and not a place where you have been trusted with something more important than a m-16..

Trust them when they say it's not allowed, they know more than you,... what if some system wasn't removed before the show cause someone forgot to remove it and you took a picture of it while not even knowing ?

    Thats cute

If it was any important then there would be somebody enforcing it. If nobody is there to take a watch its not important.

    Then its his fault.

Letting civilians near unprotected sites and afterwards saying its their responsibility is a bit lame...

He wasn't in Givati, and I don't think it was a sensitive stuff, because If those were so sensitive stuff they should have make sure NOBODY got a camera in. So take it easy.

Dear sir, you apparently have no idea what you are talking about. Gdudim, on a daily basis, use classified weapons systems and receive classified/top secret intelligence.

I highly recommend the Airsoft section of MP.net, as I feel that it would better suit your needs.
