IDF infantry get to chip in too. We replaced our own M-113 tracks and assisted the Shot guys to replace theirs . . . in the Lebanese mud, in February, when it was 5 degrees celsius outside. It sucked.

Yeah well I helped a crew of a Nagmachon replace almost an entire tread after they managed to get a "prisa pnimit" (no idea what is the term in English, the tread slipped from his track to the inner side of the APC) and they had absolutely no idea what they were doing.... ,in the Gaza mud while it was raining, i think they were from the Gadsar.
and thats nothing compared to other things my Magach had put me through...
shanti shanti why 5:48 min?
when i was in basic training after everyone were working so slow (and smart) the commanders started "showing" us, in other words - do our job since the commanders "missed" doing that.. lol so i never did that...
Mods, feel free to merge this thread with the old IDF Armor topic all together under a new name.
