The future fitness insturcturs of the IDF conducted a concluding training this week, demonstrating their impressive abillities at various physical tasks.

As the sun sets after a hard day of work, an IDF soldier in the Oketz canine special forces unit pauses in the field with his loyal companion. This dog's name is Herman, and his unique skills help keep Israel safe.

At my time there was no awareness about that. We had all our earring f*cked.

Israelis had the reputation to speak very loud. Now we know why it was so.

There was some awareness during my time, but no one paid any attention to it.

The announcer warns against using toilet paper ... which was exactly what I habitually did.

Nowadays, my wife tells me I cannot hear for sh!t ... maybe she is right.

I can not hear well and I know why, and at the time of my service I used ear plugs but still I have problems hearing when there is loud background noises.

So, all I got to say is, have fun!
I thought the Magachs were some of the roomier tanks around....

Depands on the Magach. Magach6B used the turret of the M60. I served on a Magach7C, which used the turret of an M48. the only turret I have ever seen that was more tight, was the T55's turret...

New magazines from Israeli company CAA tactical finding their way slowly into Sayerot and im guessing eventually the rest of the IDF. The regular ones by CAA are already prevalent amongst Gdudim etc.
These ones feature a counter on the side of bullets and carries the Israeli standard of 29 bullets. No need for shiftsurim, iso etc, these are made in a way that prevents dust/sand/mud/bissli/bamba crumbs etc from getting in. At the bottom theres a little white button that pops up to show that its full - making it easy for commanders to check their soldiers' magazines.
