    anyone know what the gunship that was used in Vietnam was called? worked pretty much as the Ac-130, only had miniguns tho i think.

    There were several different versions of these gunships on different airframes.

    Someone posted some footage of an AC130 tearing up some guys in afghanistan or irak a while ago. Very impressive.
