@Parzival: I wonder who the dummy is, you ignoramus. Ever heard of sarcasm?
Do you have a pic of this NI symbol? Haven't heard of anything like that before.Originally Posted by Parzival
Neither have I. If you have a picture of it, I wanna see it.
Yes,
here is pictures of real ONI. Those policemen on the pics above belong probably just to some local SWAT/PIKET unit.
U can see the white lion/or whatever it is sign on their arms and a swedish flag. U can also see their equipment is diffrent.

Huh? Local piket unit? Nope.. Swedish Chef said they were NI.
And how is the equipment in the picture you showed different to the earlier pictures? Only difference I can see is one of the officers carrying a shotgun.Originally Posted by Swedish_Chef
They are not NI, they are not wearing the NI symbol. And scince when did the NI start to use Volkswagen transporter? No, those are with out doubt a local swat team.Originally Posted by Resurrection
I got these of the photographer, who claims they are indeed of NI, I can't say for sure. I can however point out that these officers lack the insignia of Piketen (that is clearly visible in the earlier pic's) and that their vests does not match the ones of the officers in the pictures I posted earlier in this thread - all the pictures are from Uppsala, so it is a reasonable conclusion that they would all be of the same unit (Stockholmspiketen) - I can also honestly say I've never seen Piketen with those VW's but have seen them with NI.
It would also make sense for NI not to show that symbol of theirs when on an exercise in a residential area without the usual police cordons.
ETA: Thanks for the positive feedback gents. I'd ask someone to seed that intersting sounding torrent, but that would be against the rules
.
Congrats to these guys, great job.Originally Posted by signatory

About the trial. I guess this robbery is for a movie!!
Actually, the story in your link is about another armoured car robbery (in Hallunda near Stockholm). The pic in my post relates to a robbery outside Stora Höga (some 50km's north of Göteborg).
But that site seems a nice place to keep up with news from Sweden.
