    No. They just call it that to sell it to recruits who don't realise that it's issued.

    Moleskin is (was) used as a dressing for blisters. Look for it under first aid stuff.

    a little something we were introduced to in bootcamp.
    I still remember people putting it on their elbows during BWT (we crawled on hard ground alot)
