    Does anyone know if there is already an official sniper badge for the german armed forces ???

    I don't know. Might be, might not. Or do you think it could be the "Einzelkämpferabzeichen"?




    Edit: When I zoom in on the badge I think it looks more like the sniper badge you posted than the "Einzelkämpferabzeichen".

    just a silly question from me>

    im very much impressed by the training and skill that goes into making of a sniper and not to forget the equipment he carries to match his skill.

    are snipers allowed to compete in Olympic games, representing their countries?

    I don't see why not, there have been lots of our armed forces personnel representing Britain in the past and I'm sure that will continue. The art of sniping and shooting in the Olympics have a lot of differences though.

    I've heard of US armed forces personnel competing in the shooting events, but since it doesn't have a lot of TV coverage, I don't know much more about them.

    In Beijing last year, 9 from the US armed forces competed in the shooting events.
