the weapon was provided without a bipod and the company failed to deliver them even after the army re-ordered after the weapon was already in service. Secondly the weapon was unable to handle the hotter 7.62 that our ordnance factories produce.

For the first time in print a behind-the-scenes look at 21st century sniping by special operations forces world-wide. Authors Brandon Webb, a former Navy SEAL and Headmaster at the Naval Special Warfare Sniper Course (NSWSC) and Mir Bahmanyar, a former Army Ranger, present a never before seen insider account of the greatest transformation in sniping history from “old school” training to 21st century sniping techniques along with all the requisite tools of the trade. The NSWSC is the world’s most difficult sniper course that leverages the latest technology and training methods. It has gained a world-wide reputation as one of the most modern and effective schools world-wide. Be in the mountains of Afghanistan or the cities of Iraq, the 21st century sniper is one of the best equipped and most capable assets in the modern war-fighting arsenal.

21st Century Sniper will include an in-depth analysis of special operations snipers world-wide including foreign units such as the British, Australian and New Zealand Special Air Services as well as German SEALs and many other European elite snipers.
21st Century Sniper will be fully illustrated with over 250 photographs.

SEAL Sniper is the true story about the experiences of Navy SEAL Brandon Webb as a SEAL Team sniper, to his combat tours in the Persian Gulf and Afghanistan, to managing the Naval Special Warfare Sniper Course (NSWSC) and his subsequent work with a three-letter agency in the Middle East.
The NSWSC is the world’s most difficult sniper course and as Sniper Course Manager Brandon was responsible for producing over 200 SEAL sniper graduates, several of whom are the most accomplished military snipers of the 21st Century, including Marcus Luttrell (NY Times best-selling author of Lone Survivor). Brandon was personally mentioned in Marcus’s book and credits Brandon’s training with his survival during the ill-fated mission in Afghanistan as part of Operation Red Wing in 2005 resulting in the single greatest death toll within the SEAL ranks.
SEAL Sniper not only provides a rare look into the world’s best sniper course but it also examines the traits necessary to produce a successful graduate - a sniper capable of stopping another man’s beating heart without hesitation at distances of over a mile.
