    duck so what you want is them written out of history so they didn't exist?and if they didn't exist some factions would say their crimes didn't exist. They need to be recorded so the Concentration camps record is complete and the revisionists who would like to rewrite history to say the Holocaust is only a Jewish plot can be kept firmly in their box. It is distasteful but unfortunatley if it isn't done when the generations who survived the death camps have gone then those around will only be left with written records and memorials to go on and written records can be changed and their interpritation revised especially if there is no other evidence to support them.

    Concentration camp guards are not soldiers but killers and torturers. They should be stripped of all possible military awards, denied burial at military cemeteries, stripped of their military rank and their widows should not get one cent from the government. Other than that, they should not be forgotten.

    And problem in poland was not becouse of german soldier but of possible war criminals and that polish honor guard honored them unwilingly...
