    Stasi

In today's weekly edition of "El pais" newspaper magazine there's an interesting article about the Stasi, focusing on some people who were investigated by the Stasi and their reactions when they read the documents that were being kept about them. The article has some pics of different facilites of the Stasi.
Those pics were taken by Daniel & Geo Fuchs as part of a project which will involve an exposition and a book in 2006 , so i think it's good to see some of the pics before we can have access to the rest of the pics next year.

Sorry for the quality of the pics, i scanned them:

Cells in the Hohenschönhausen prision, near Berlin.

Stasi central building in Berlin-Lichtenberg. Apparently there are 180 km of files about DDR citizens

    Potsdam Prision

    Potsdam Prision

    Reading room in Potsdam

Each photo corresponds to the following descriptions:
02 - Room in Bautzen prision.
03 - toilet in Bautzen prision.
    04 - room in Hohenschönhausen.
05 - The known as "Mielke space" in Berlin-Lichtenberg.
06 - Bunker in Machern, near Leipzig. The bunker was found in 1990.
    07 - Same bunker.
    08 - Same bunker.
09 - Border control in Marienborn.

    Bautzen prision and Machern bunker.

I'll go to Berlin again in January probably , so i hope i can take some pictures myself.
