    Default B-10 Recoilless

    Hi Folks

I'm looking for any info / pictures anyone has on the old B-10 recoilless that was in common use by Soviet/Chinese forces during the 1960's.

    Can anybody help?

    Thanks

I have seen very few pictures of the B-10. It is more common to see the smaller SPG-9 being used, and most of the pictures I have seen of the SPG-9 were high up in mountain posts in Afghanistan. They were used as perimeter weapons, presumably with HE FRAG rounds as a direct fire weapon against distant enemy targets. (The other most common place I have seen Recoiless Rifles now is also in the mountains, used to fire at hillsides to bring down large snow drifts to prevent accidental avalanches.)
