The ability to use the 3d view would be good though, it would help alot in urban built up terrain to over lay imagry with normal mgrs. Let us know how it performs out and about.

My Etrex and RINO 120 had trouble keeping a signal in the trees, and couldn't pick up satellites in my truck unless they were on the dashboard or hanging out the window. This one functions fine from under cover; actually, I picked up a signal from inside my apartment! The 3D was cool when I played with it while driving in a mountain valley, the features matched spot on. I'll report on it some more when I really get to use it.

Been enjoying my Garmin so far. With the deals going around, I'm pretty sure there is a model you can find for $100 or less.

    Garmin Nuvi Series.
Have the 670 and the 755t.
If you have the money go for a 765t or any of the xx5t series. It has a radio signal pickup for traffic. And no subscription, but you can get it if you want.

TomTom ruins relationships. Have you seen the commercials?

so we end up getting the TomTom XL 340-S....did a test run last night....even tried to against the direction and it corrected itself.
going to add my favorite stops along the route....

changed the OEM splash screen to something sexier

a friend of mine help me update the firmware....it's kinda tricky due to its limited memory storage....suggest updating firmwares only before adding some other free stuff, coz it eats up the storage space rather quickly
