Great gallery, I haven't thought of checking that site.
He Failed to deliver as usual from MoD official page! his photos from a village of opfor and "ana police" in blue is so out of focus and you can see anything, It's ridiculous to even publish this on MoD page.
It is ridiculous, what my post and proves, fat ass photo lens and Fail.
We can see that the gallery of pics from "amateurs" from, Osijek on line site and gallery witch maxo published, are much better they are full of better pictures and information about exercise than official MoD. So we can see that specialist rating is not necessary to deliver. And ultimate stupidity is that We will see those same MoD pics in the next new issue of Hrvatski Vojnik magazine.
check again they added a 4.21min video on http://osijek-online.com/Regija/Slav...u-Gasinci.html

Thumbs up ! for new Minister Kotromanovic for this statement
"in administration and commands 1,000 people less equally a battalion of infantry more for the Ground Army"
And for his reforms very good start, We can see that the man was in the military and knows what needs to be done.

Very interesting, if I'm not mistaken CORE BG 2012 will be the first time that Croatia sends heavy combat vehicles (I'm not counting the LOVs and MRAPs deployed in A-Stan) abroad. This will probably serve as the final test for AMVs before they are deployed to support our soldiers in ISAF, so hopefully most of them will be weaponized before CORE BG.

It seems me that finally the electoral freeze is ended and Croatia has get a very good minister of defence.
To be 100% sure i'll however wait until defence budget would be assessed.

About Hratski Ponos I found very interesting the ones about G36K and VHS and comparison between the two.

Army soldiers and engineering vehicles help remove snow from public surfaces in Dalmatia near important locations, such as hospitals and reestablish road connections severed by heavy snowfall. 200 soldiers has been called upon to assist, mostly from Motorized Guards barracks in Knin. Meanwhile, the Mountain Rescue Service is evacuating the injured and delivering supplies to cut off villages. God speed to all of them.

Also, specialist training for Artillery battalion was completed a few days at Eugen Kvaternik training ground in Slunj with firing of D-30 RH 122mm howitzers and BM-21 122mm MLRSs.

From 10 January to 1 February 2012th was carried out joint military training under the title "The common practice of the Special Operations Battalion (BSD) and Naval Special Warfare Unit-2" (NSWU-2) from the United States participate in the implementation of maritime operations and parachute jumps with the use of aircraft MC-130 Hercules."

The training that included parachute jumps using the free opening technique and use of the American aircraft "MC-130 Hercules",Training was conducted from the barracks "Josip Jovic" in Udbina. Jumps were performed from 3000 meters by freestyle opening, and they were trained in techniques of grouping paratroopers jumping out of airplanes during free fall and landing on a designated group of fields. One of the goals of training was seen in the ability of members of the BSD-in parachute jumps from high-speed aircraft such as the aircraft is the MC-130 Hercules, where paratroopers jumping at high speed aircraft never below 240 km / h that requires additional training. Aggravating circumstance for all members of the training, this time, was low temperature witch did not exceed zero mid-day,but at a height of 3000 meters ranged from - 25 to - 30 ş C. That did not stop the American and Croatian members of special forces to carry out a hundred jumps without much difficulty. In addition to members of the BSD's, namely members of 1. Company of the Special Operations Battalion, group of paratroopers from VOB also participated.

Part of the exercise was conducted in the waters of Split with the use of vessels and personnel of the Croatian Navy (HRM) and in the area around the island of Žirje. As participants in the areas of training instructor is provided by the members of the Maritime interdiction operations (MIO) and training is attended by operators of the Bljesak rubber boats crew from the Croatian Navy.

Holders of training instructors were NSWU-2. One of the goals of this training was to create conditions for effective and efficient implementation of joint training with special forces from the U.S. Armed Forces and the training of future members of the BSD's in planning and execution of the tasks of special operations forces, which include topics in maritime operations: use of the DGC and in-fighting conditions, maritime navigation and the retake of the kidnapped ship
