Guys have some of you used CamelBak MXC gloves ?
Hi there,
Can you guys please advise me on some gloves, I have a pair of nomex flight gloves and thinsulate liners for in early spring and autumn times, But I still need a pair of GOOD and warm wintergloves to use in Norway this winter, preferably a little water resistant. I do have mittens but its not that practical during vehicle operations with a map, binoculairs and a whole lot of buttons to press :P
What should I buy, I drive on a vehicle during FTX so the cold wind combined with rain or snow is freezing me.
Check these out.

I know they're expensive for wintergloves, I do however like the concept of placing a handwarmer inside the gloves, like i.e. the HEAT 3.

I saw another User got the Outdoor Research tax gloves - I was curious if anyone had used those or the similarly expensive arcteryx gloves. Reviews?
I have these atm.

Question. Can nomex flight gloves be washed and still retain fire retardant? The writing inside them is too faded to read.
From my Hatch NOMEX gloves' label:
Hand wash with mild soap and water.
Do not use bleach.
Do not machine dry.
Leather conditioner may be used to restore oils.
Been meaning to post in here for a while as i need a bit of advice.
I have to use a wheelchair when i'm out and about and i'm struggling to find a pair of suitable gloves that not only stop me from shredding my hands to bits, but also survive more than a week before they get shredded. I've looked into a number of different types of gloves, and the only pair that worked have been replaced by an inferior product. Leather and cloth are the worst, generally lasting literally one or two trips out before they start shredding themselves...
So i'm wondering if there is a pair of military gloves that could be suitable.
What i need is something that can stop the marked areas (on the quick mock up above) from being shredded, last more than a couple of week but also allow my finger tips to be free to grip things properly... anyone got any suggestions?
Thank you in advance![]()
