    Nice pics Raj.
Trouble in J&k and Northeast certainly made Indian troops kickass in CI ops, but one thing that TAVOR pics is not J&K SOG and that last pic looks like is of Ladak Scouts.

Dunno about the SOG one, but the last one is definately Rashtriya Rifles -- I remember reading the article about the incident, how terrorist cell stormed a mosque and held everyone inside hostage, prompting a siege of the place and ultimately resulting in a successful op involving RR commandos storming and killing the terrorists without any casualties to civilians and damage to the mosque.

RR Cdo units in Kashmir are a pretty diverse bunch of people from all over India (usually ex-army or police units), but the Ladakh Scouts is a pretty ethnically homogenous unit.

    Cheers

Some more pics of an Indian Army Ghatak platoon:

A tourist picture of several SSB personnel wearing old and new uniform types in Sikkim:

Photos taken by a reporter embedded wiht a Rashtriya Rifles ghatak platoon during a cordon and search operation in Kashmir. IIRC, it resulted in the capture of 6 LeT terrorists who had killed several villagers:

    Thanks bro.

Will post some more pics soon, till then here's video news clip about Indian army ramping up security due to heavy snowfall in Kashmir.

The commanding officer of this Ladakh Scouts patrol is of Tibetan ethnicity, Maj. Dhundup Keronga. Also of interest is the new uniform kit

I think it says "Karate" on the back of one the martial arts uniforms. What kind of karate do they practice? Kyokushin Karate or is it some sort of modified Karate style?

I dont know about Delta, But there have been quite a number of British and American Special Forces soldiers coming to our High Altitude Warfare College in Kashmir, our Counter Insurgency school and Jungle Warfare School in North East, Lots and Lots Pictures are available on the net. I dont think Delta or SAS would have come, or even if they have I dont think Indians would have known.

Now that I can believe, if only for the fact that it was relayed with intelligent and articulate grammar...I'm going to do a little research on my own nonetheless.
