Pics of your US Marine kit

Alright guys, I play airsoft. And I've been admiring the Marine corp ever since I was little. I plan on joining in the near future.

Now, I need help on exactly what the Marines are loaded out with.

I already have my digital camoflauge. I already have my helmet (but I still need a cover)

Now, is this the vest that they're using?

Also, I was told the Marines use the Coyote Brown color over their woodland, and desert BDU's. Is that true?

Also, what pouches should I be getting, and in what color. (I would really appreciate a link.)

Now, Guns.

Are marines using the M4A1 at all? or Is it strictly M16A4?

Would this be a gun they used at all?

Pouches from SDS or Blackhawk is often seen on pics.
you get them also at entry gear

thats the right vest... a coyote brown interceptor... marines use both m4a1 and m16a4 but m16a4 is more widespread, they dont use the CA m15a4 CBQ because its an airsoft rifle... lol.. the pouches they are meant to be using should be coyote brown now... but theres still woodland and other pouches in use... *too slow*

Gentex Lightweight Helmet (LWH, replaced PASGT costs roughly 300-500.00 even used)

PASGT Kevlar Helmet (good alternative if you dont wanna pay 500.00 for a helmet, has been with the Corps since the 80's)

Digital MARPAT Reversable Helmet Cover (Desert to Woodland)

Weapon wise.. M16A4 MWS Is the issue rifle for field Marines. The M4 RIS how ever is getting more popular with the Marine Corps lately. You'll see a few photos of COs/Platoon Sergeants with the M4.

Marines use the ACOG. It's Woodland, not OD. OD =Olive Drab (Green..).

ive seen pictures of marines using od pouches in iraq too... not usually ammo or utility pouches though.

The guarder ModII FSBE copies might be better if you're loading down with a bit, that's what I'm using for my SAM-R.

The color is pretty much whatever you've got, for the older stuff, and if you're using desert tri and woodland interchangeably, the woodland gear is the best choice, but if you're using a MARPAt setup, I'd hunt down some coyote stuff.

You may want to look into the Wiley SG-1 goggles, also relatively cheap, I <3 mine.

Barre Army/Navy carries some dumpy old Panama type boots for $25 -- as big a shame as it is for me to reccomend cheap boots, if you're only using them for airsoft, then do that.

Woodland camo Interceptors are being gradually replaced by coyote brown ones. Most infantry units have received the CB Interceptors by this point.

i THINK the IBA is always worn in combat zones.. unless the Marine has bought another vest or plate carrier.. but maybe for training excersises they only wear the FLC.. just my guess tho
