Knew a guy who had a pretty loyal English Bull Terrier. One day something set him off and it bit him, was a young dog too. Next day he put the dog down. Homie dont play that way.

Dad is back home, doctors say they will have a lot of work repairing the damage, mother is in full denial, rest of family is scared to death by the dog, who acts normal again, my arm is completely stiff and swollan with 16 puncture holes

We got him when he was 3 months old, trigger? I pushed him aside to reach into a closset, a few moments later he suddently attacked me from behind, it was the first time I could not controll him anymore (shame, he is just a 40kg Chow), and I believe he knows that now. I stay at my parents during the weekends, I'm very strict with him, Chows are incredibly stubborn and always test you, during the week he stays with my mom, she allows him to do almost anything. But never had any serious problems with him before.

Going to try to convince my mother to bring him to the Vet, she is a stubborn woman, who is convinced that after raizing 5 children, noboddy needs to tell her how to handle a dog.

Sorry to hear that. sounds very brutal. my grandpa had a rottweiler bite one of my cousins. he took it behind the shed with his .38 and we never saw him again. (dog, not my grandpa)

**** man, sorry to hear that.

Once a dog does something like that a boundry has been crossed and its almost certain he will do that again. You seriously need to consider doing him away/putting him down.

That is the problem, It's up to my parents to decide, don't want to think about him attacking a stranger or my youngest sister, I'm the only one at home who has the fysical power to fight him off, and I'm out of the house during the week.

I hope next week will be better then this one because I'm starting to lose it, car accident on monday, tuesday a good friend had to go back to the hospital, they found a new tumor, wednesday my girl leaves me after two years for the biggest douche I know, thursday I sprain my enkle by taking a few stairs to much, yesterday this, O_O
I'm going to stay in bed next week with the door and windows locked and pray the sky doesn't fall on my head

****ing hell mate, ****ty week indeed. I hope everything gets back to normal for you real fast.
And mark my words, your girl will be back once she realises what she's done, then you will have the pleasure of looking her in the face with a smile and just turn around and walk away.

Get the dog checked, it has something wrong with it. It's just an animal so I am not talking in a sense of psychologically wrong with it, its probably in pain for something get it checked.

My bro in law had a doberman who out of nowhere attacked me, as soon as he went for me I just punched it in its face then chased him around the yard. We were cool afterwards, everybody was still **** scared of the dog but we were all right. When we had him checked after a year, he was literally dying of cancer, poor guy.

I'm sorry to hear that, try to divide everything in your mind, to not feel so f***ed by the world. As for the dog, it may be their decision but you can influence that, try to maybe get him in to a shelter for now, temporarily, so you can have the peace of mind to find another solution.

Try to not take it too bad about the woman, I know a lot of people would actually be glad over a breakup only that they feel hurt because they weren't the ones to end it. Better to move on than to be in a failing relationship anyway, you'll get another.
