This question alone (and especially if you add Saab to this) would need many hours of lecturing about Swedish society, history and people.

Bird's nest society might easily sum it up. And that's not meant to be negative here.

Awesome car. I will probably buy one at some stage. The only thing i don't like is the 50,000+ starting price tag for the XC series. That buys a whole lot of German car.

Having said that thats what my current ride is RRP'd at.

Volvo teaming up with Cannondale for their MTB team was perhaps the best marketing ploy they ever came up with, whole new generation of drivers.

My Saab broke today. Why is that? Apologise to me now. I accept a dozen of big breasted Swedish blondes as a sign of good will.

SAAB have a free repair service called SAAB aviation, just give the coordinates of your car and it will be all taken care of.

My question though is which of the languages is considered easier to learn and which of the women are considered the hottest?

Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Icelandic are all language relatives. I would imagine that for ze Germans and the Dutch it's propably easiest to learn Danish. For the rest,I don't think there's much difference, although Icelandic might be the most difficult. All of them are germanic languages though, just like English, so not that hard. Finnish is way different and belongs to a group of Finno-Ugric languages among Hungarian and Estonian languages, and is considered way more difficult for someone who has a germanic language as his native language.

Do people in Alaska still get money from the state from all the oil profits? Why does it seem like 90% of Americans are fat and watch 10% of the Americans who get to be on T.V. for not being fat? Unless it's something like The Biggest Loser when 99.999% of Americans watch fat Americans lose weight on T.V. instead of losing weight by turning off the T.V. and going out.

Danish sounds the funniest, Swedish sounds gay...and Norwegian is somewhere in between. Finnish though sounds like a drunk/retarded reindeer on crack.

Swedish would be the easiest for me though, Du är en jävla skitstövel! the least weird symbols and sounds.

Icelandic, like German, has maintained its grammar cases. The rest of the Germanic lingos have lost them, except in their ****ouns. Think Faroese has kept theirs too.

Do you still get paid with checks? How does one manage his bank account, can you pay bills online? Are debit cards common? Do you have to have a credit card?

Hennie, you definately clear wax off from your ears. Even JRR Tolkien noted beautiful Finnish language and used it for the Quenya, language of elves. Then again the Scandinavian germanic languages were used as basis for the Dark Tongue of orcs. We win (6-1).

It depends on the place but in my experience-
Yes- although it is common that you have an option to recieve checks or direct deposit.
I usually went for the checks option because there were smoking hot Persian chicks working at the Bank of America near me.

Yes, these options are all available.

Yes, you can only have a debit card. You don't need to have a credit card- many people do it because it is a good means, if you know what you are doing, to improve your credit score.
