There is a war museum in Da Nang that displays weapons that you can in many cases pick up and hold.
Some have plaques stating who owned the weapon and how many were killed with it.

Haha it could explain how my grandpa got it, doubt many of those guys would of given one up. Yeah thats a creepy museum then.

My grandpa brought back a lot of stuff and it never really made me think man how many people did this thing kill.

    Yikes.

I've also heard about folks in the US buying de-milled AK kits from the Balkans with little hash marks on the stock.. That sh1t would make me uncomfortable..

Makes you think doesn't it? I always wonder if someone was ever killed with one of mine, or died with it

Yeah. Pretty bizarre when you think about the fact some soldier probably considered that rifle his most important possession..

work Buddy just told me he threw the then British Minister (haseltine) for defence off the shop floor due to lack of safety attire Apparently in came up in some question time later so he got his moment off fame... along with a serious chat with his employer lol.
He got a posting to Brazil shortly after apparently.
