Jack was in MACVSOG, so he when he was in SF during Vietnam they fulfilled the mission they were created for, today it seems they are hyper-commandos, at least from what I've seen and read.

Just the articles that come out about Green Berets in Afghanistan every few or so odd months, which usually entails medals getting awarded, no books though. Jack knows a lot about what is currently going on in Afghanistan so he could be source one if you have questions. I consider myself ignorant when it comes to the Green Berets.

My cousin just recently "graduated" from the "Two Weeks in Hell" Green Beret selection process and is now waiting for the call to start the Green Beret "training program"

I hate humanity. where one can hurt another for amusement, and have no negative feelings amazes me. i dont care if you pray to god, allah, jehovah or a friggin microscope, it comes down to common human decency. and i pray to god that it truely is a common trait, but now i can see it probably isnt
