Ha, and i was thinking you were from the states....
Yes, us Dutchies are very linguistical.
German and Dutch language are not that different though.

Haha, I'm very deceptive and hide many details.
I can read Dutch without major difficulties, it's a good mix between German and Swedish.
Having the courage to speak is a whole different thing though.

I really want to improve my Dutch and French, I guess the only thing to do is to SPEAK them more often and at every occasion.

EDIT: Oh and about the Air Raid Siren, they used to do that in Sweden as well on the first Monday of each month at 15.00. I'm not sure if they still do.

Yeah, I just find it really hard to go out and speak dutch to people, I think I just dont have the courage to use as my day to day lingo or probably cause I'm in the Philippines.

Hehehe, mate, to speak and write correct Dutch for non-Dutchies is really difficult, it's not logical at all..
Ik weet niet of deze zin goed is...(sentence = zin, but zin got more meanings)

Haha, if they all look like that, why yes, yes i would. Though in that comic book my language would be more like "Woman, let go of my god damn leg!!!"

What are you guys up to? just sipping coffee here and watching Volume 2 of "The art of the tactical carbine"

I'm guessing Zin is a bit like the German Sinn...as in "sense". "Wat is de zin van het leven?"

And on that note I'm off to the baker and other chores
