Stupid stuff= Descending Mont Ventoux at 100 KPH with nothing between you and the unforgiving asphalt but a few kilograms of aluminium tubing and a pair of wheels.. Potentially incredibly dangerous because of DEM HAIRPINZ), but SO much fun. At that speed i was slipstreaming behind cars and even overtaking them. One of the best experiences i had since i started cycling. The 20K climb up to the summit(my first time) was totally worth it.
BTW, if you ever find yourself on the top of that mountain, don't be surprised by the sky high prices on the stuff they sell in those stalls on there. The locals have turned it into a little tourist trap, because they know the cyclists will almost certainly buy something to eat there, preferably with a LOT of sugar in it. Lots of Nougat, energy drink and fruit bars, but at only 2 times the normal price.

Now cycling, that's dangerous! seriously I mean it. I've been almost killed by a car twice while riding a bike.

As a kid, all I can remember is cycling got me closer to death than anything I owned. ! almost a hood ornament for a bus, the other involved a screeching Land Rover and going straight to a wall. Cause breaks are for pussies.

I think a small motor bike is safer than a push bike.

The airforce has a Chinook slated for the teams transport on return, and a orange F16 will escort them.
Amsterdam is preparing for a party, irregardless if the team wins.
Talk is they should be knighted.

edit: almost forgot, we'll be winning of course.

I remember in -98 when I saw you win over my team (Yugoslavia)

iirc anyway... and then after a few months, the air strikes started.
