No, because you may not understand or know much about PC hardware that you need to keep upgrading, isn't my fault that you need to turn to consoles. Also, what games cannot run the 9800GT? Unless you are playing Overrun on Star Craft 2 or trying to play Crysis with Ultra settings, then you are doing it wrong. Even then, the experience is far better and the add ons later on can be even more entertaining. Anyway, when I pay 60 bucks for a damn game (way too expensive) then I want the most out of it. On console (so far) I have not been getting that (unless I want to drop extra $$ on something that is incomplete or just way too short (fable 3 anyone?)).

I never said anything about me not knowing anything about PC hardware (I know what I need to do my design work and chose it based on that). I can run every game I've tried great. And not everybody uses mods on PC. Just like some people wouldn't buy that extra stuff even if it was free.

I have no clue? At least I can build a system that lasts longer then 2 years. And no, there is no Guarantee, but there is no guarantee either that the games that do come out will be over the top or not. But there is guarantee that as long as DX10 is supported for that line of games/video cards, the card will run, even if it has to run on lowest settings (which medium settings in some cases, look a heck of a lot better then some xbox360 games).

The only thing I will agree with you on is that if they feel comfortable of using the PS3 or Xbox360, then fine. But generally, you will get a better experience on PC, if the game is for PC, if not (like the fable series) I get it on console.

I think it'll last me more then 2 years

At least that was the case with Bad Company (though I ended up buying neither), 24 players on PC is just disappointing.

And this is where we hit a brick wall with video game development. Then again, in most cases for these, the games are generally nothing original or new or even remotely changed from the previous titles. The only thing I look forward to is the zombies.

Besides the fact its the same type of gameplay, the maps looks alot different, and with the money system and everything should stay interesting

Theres a hour long gamespot thing on the MP on youtube you could watch

I played MW2 up until like a month ago and that game was ****ty. So I don't doubt I'll get my money's worth
