I like the North, more calm there. Been to Groningen city only once, so can't really say wether i really liked it or not. Seemed really busy as a relatively small city with a LOT of students milling about.

Unless she was built like a hippo you'd expect it to show, especialy with a 12 year old.

Where I live it's very calm. In fact the only way for it to be more calm is to move to a graveyard, it that quiet.

A girl in my class was pregnant too. Nobody realized it. She studied, she came everyday to school. She knew it, just she did not say anything. She was 16. Now she is a happy mom of 2 kids, has a great husband and a good job. It can end so as well.

It's just that I think that 12 is a bit young to have a child. At least she and her child seem to be doing ok.

Yes she is of course too young. I think there are people who are with 30 still to young to have a kid.

Frankly I don't see a problem. I mean after all I fathered my first child at age 6. Though there have been catastrophic health and mental problems, everything else was pretty groovy. For example: Sharing toys, record albums, clothing (once he was in his teens) and women. Awesomeness!

Well, the Niva is officially dead. Currently driving a rental (tiny POS CitroŽn)...The search for new wheels has started.

With all the money I've been saving up, I can cough up 5 grand. Should be able to buy something decent for that..Not sure what though.

Might go for a classic (25 years or older=no road tax) that runs on AutoGas. Considerably cheaper than diesel or petrol.

Also, no GPS and no Copstop. So the man can't track you. Anonymity!

Isn't the government about to change Oldtimer regulations? One of my uncles bought an old ex-Bundeswehr/Red Cross Mercedes bus, thinking that it would shortly turn into an oldtimer under Dutch law, which as said would mean he'd pay no taxes, but this cabinet might push for legislation to freeze the age requirement, i.e. The car has to be an oldtimer before or by a certain date. If it reaches oldtimer age AFTER that date, it would not be considered an oldtimer tax-wise.
