For those interested in meteors etc in the Netherlands, the Lyrids April meteor shower will be visible over the Netherlands from this weekend up to April 25.

I miss meteor showers. As a 20-something I saw them every August from a dark beach, late at night, early in the morning. Not in a good place for it the last few years. Too bright.
Don't miss the blue ice from that beach though.

Things sure heated up in the Doggie Jerky thread. Who would have thought?
Off to exercise. Get the blood flowing.

Good man, there were 5 kids in front of the store asking if I could hook them up with a bottle of Smirnoff... The most exciting thing that happened here the past month is some crazy guy shouting at the cops from a rooftop dressed in shorts..This is a shytehole.

Hey, where I live I sometimes see someone passing by. This is as exiting as it gets, mind you if you happen to blink at the wrong time you can miss even this exiting moment.

Like the buses on Malta. Dunno if those are still around, or have been replaced by shiny MB's paid for by eurobucks, but g'damn if those things did not scare the bejesus out of people. I was in one once in which the driver had draped a wet blanket(complete with bottle of water for refills) over what must have been part of the firewall bulkhead. Hills could be a real challenge for some of those old beasts..

Needed to be in Amsterdam again today, spent alot of time in the tram. Luckily for me the improved weather meant I could indulge in some women watching to pass the time

No Rokjesdag yet, but I bet it's not long off now.

J&B Rare, is a good drink as I recall, very pale, looks like piss, so it comes in a green bottle.

So, as it looks like right now, I'm going to take up all my days off before my contract ends and I start at the other place...Thinking of doing a road trip through the US from coast to coast. Gotta love the visa waiver program. lol

Sipping whisky, smoking a cigar, chatting with a mate on Twitter about what *** toy he should buy his wife...Weekend has indeed arrived.

I can understand the seller. Staffordshire Terriers are popular fighting dogs. I'd sure as hell won't want to see any of my pups end up like that.
