That's a really good question. It could well be that that's the case but they'd still get gate takings from their "home" games in Dubai or Qatar or whereever it is. Bit of a point to ponder while I'm at work tonight bored ****less.

I think the venue plays a big part in how much you can bank from a home game. We have footy clubs here in Melbourne who are tied to the indoor stadium and they make significantly less at the gate than teams who play at the MCG or inter state who own their own stadiums, or who have better deals with host stadiums.
