Its a real waste as Officer Cadet School was a goal of mine. I just hope they send me to a unit where I can really excel and make good use of for the next 2 years of service.

I actually like the taste of Red Bull. It's not some namby-pamby sweet soda pop flavor. More of a Euro tonic-medicinal flavor.
I usually buy Rockstar's Light Vanilla Latte though. I like a bit of java in the morning and the "energy drink in my coffee" solution please me.

You're 18. Drop out of college, if you're so **** at it and don't give a ****, get a job you're not **** at and move out of your parents' place. All your problems solved.

Study harder. Your parents can't help you. You're on your own.
Not much your parents can do. Up to you to improve. Talk to your Director of Studies (or whatever you guys have over there), explain what you are struggling with and get as much help as you can. If you get help and it doesn't work it isn't the end of the world.
Put more effort in your studies.
Feeling sorry for yourself isn't helping much.
Ask your teacher/tutor/lecturer/whatever you call them for extra notes/practice questions or whatever is relevant to your course. In my experience, if you're putting the effort in, they'll make time to help you.
Also helps to talk to folks who already did the course. Once scored pretty well in a class I knew fvckall about because a friendly bloke a year farther borrowed me his old notes.
Being a social person does actually help.
