    My paperwork goes back 5 years..Anything older goes through the shredder.

    I usually keep too much old paperwork, so I am bucking the trend and getting rid of bills and documents related to old accounts that have been closed. I keep electronic copies of current bank accounts' statements now, so I don't feel as much a need to be extra diligent with the paper.

    I do keep all my tax records, house payments, and medical records. I keep my insurance bills, and anything related to current car purchase and maintenance records.

    Right now I'm shredding old snowboarding equipment pamphlets and reviews...

    tercio has not much use for HBO, or tv in general for that matter. Concert registrations or opera on blu-ray however....
