I got hired to run the trading department for a company representing Penson Financial Services (they move 15% of the US stock markets) in Central America, Meaning I got several traders on the stock markets everyday, pus dealing with clients, and private banks, such a Lehman, Goldman, UBS etc. I liked the weather, and since my wife has some roots and family here (Panama) we stayed (and I happened to have lived in Panama before during my teenager years, before college). I donīt get payed as much as in the US, or perhaps in Europe, had I stayed there, but on the other hand, I pay very little taxes, we get a cleaning lady everyday on the house, and I do not waste 2 hrs a day of my life in traffic, which means more time with my son.
