    So, I needed a small nylon roller for the sliding door on my van, turns out you cant buy the rollers, you have to buy the sliding mech .... £180! they really are taking the piss, £180 for a 10p roller.

    Keep on looking. Maybe smaller, old time, hardware store? Or like Tercio said. Never tried that myself but, those folks have scarp yards to make money not just for the "smell and atmosphere." Good luck.

    Its the genuine Fiat Ducato side door roller I need, I guess the Relay or boxer would fit also, I'll see how lonf my brass nut lasts

    Those pieces are standard, they are made for most of the slide doors, check out if the Ford, MB or Renault nylon roller can fit. I used to have a Kangoo, and once I used a Citroen Berlingo roller. It was almost the same.
