In the '70ies we got BBC in the Netherlands, we had only 2 Dutch channels and that made everybody watch German, Belgian, French and Brittish tv. And yes, I was around in the '70ies.

Oh, yeah. The age of the analogue terrestial tv. Must have been pretty busy in the airwaves at your location. The Russkies were broadcasting their channel pretty strongly, probably as an cultural exchange program. I remember once stopping on their channel to watch "The longest day", dubbed unemotionally into russian by one guy. That must have been a rare treat in soviet Russia. Imperialist propaganda, even if they might have a little tweaked the dialogue...

I talked to my instructor about it. She understands about my situation and is going to help me. The problem is my homework and tests go through a third party site that is not controlled by my Uni. So I have to go through 2 or 3 people to help me retake the test later in the term.
