I was just at lunch and saw on a few of the plasmas that there was another school shooting. Today it was in a really small town in Wisconsin.
What gives? There seems to have been about ten shootings in the US/CAN this year already, including the ones at colleges.
Something strange happened today...I was walking to my math class and I heard, "Hey Maria, look here." I did, and it was the same guy who has been clingy to me since school started.
back ground info = he is nice but annoying, touchy-feely, and somewhat strange...on Wednesday he said, "So you're single, right?" I was waiting for him to ask me for the longest time..I didn't want to say it outright because he would probably end up saying ohhh I wasn't trying to get with you, blahblahblah, even though he obviously was...Anyways, I told him that I have a boyfriend. He was surprised and insisted that I had told him I was single, even though he had never asked me in the first place, and why would I lie about that? And no I never led him on...
So anyways, I look at him and am about to say hi when I see that he is giving me the finger. I was a little shocked, and was walking with a friend so I didn't go over to him and ask him why he did that. Looking back on it now, I should have, and I will try and ask him on Monday...should I? I'm not necessarily upset that I don't have to deal with him anymore but it kind of hurt my feelings for some reason. I was always nice to him...I honestly don't understand why he did that.
This is very stupid but oh well.
If he can't get your attention by being nice, then he'll try to get your attention by being mean.
From what you posted, it doesn't sound as if he is trying to hurt your feelings. Just trying to get your attention.
I would proceed the same way you always have, and if he keeps hurting your feelings, then tell him to stop. If he doesn't stop, find the biggest guy and sick 'em!!

Miles - maybe so but he seemed serious about it. I could only muster a confused (not accusing) "what??" and looked at him, but then he just turned towards his friend. He didn't seem happy...
