The lights you guys are talking about are pretty sweet. When I was at PJOC our chief SERE specialist pulled one out of his fanny pack (yes, a SERE instructor wore a fanny pack) and let us look at it. He said he would slap one on the back of his helmet for HALO jumps and other whatnot. Has functions for red, green, blue, and IR lights. All LED, and you change functions by rotating the dial surrounding the circle of lights. Pretty heavy duty construction I thought. Pretty sweet stuff.

Sorry, I found the original pic, I thought it was one of an EOD guy, but I was wrong.
British helmet and comms !!! Chest webbing could be 1 of hundreds , strange choice of body armour cover ie Black ,But the rest of his kit ie smock & combats looks very US !!!! Weapon - not your normal Brit bang stick !
