The soldier on the left, is he Thai by any chance?[/quote]
Kilo 1-1 is right he's kopassus ( Indonesian army special forces), it's an old photo from the 90's I think
I assume these two passed BUDS?
I assume that foreign exchange soldiers have to go through BUDs and SQT and are then awarded the Trident?
ahhhhhh ok....thanks for clearing that up for me :o)

I have been to the myspace of a SEAL who was in Delta platoon at team 3 with Monsoor and he was asked by another SEAL about this book and returned an explosive tangeant about how **** Couch is a such a douche and makes money of of SEALs. Also expressed how putting this pic of Monsoor on his cover didnt bode well with the men whom he fought with.....i was glad to read his comments since I from day one thought of Couch as a wolf in sheeps clothing. Just another guy whos trying to make for a more comfortable retirment. His book about SF training really scared the **** out of me until I got the feeling he wasnt too welcome at Bragg amongst the staff and some students. The two books mentioned here are prime examples why SEAL Team is despised by the majority of SOF people not in NSW. Alot of these guys need to shut the **** up and just be quiet and thankful they got to do a job most only dream of. I can only speak for me but if i wanted to go SEAL stuff like this would just turn me off. work in the shadows and leave in the shadows...public doesnt need to know **** unless a hero is lost. rant over...
I pay no attention to hearsay.

the dude who said it is "that guy"...and the pics of the dudes profile he said it on should sqaush all doubt about them being real.
Sorry to interject, has anyone seen a better quality version of the pic on this book cover? It looks quite interesting but I've never seen it anywhere else, I'm thinking it may be part of a private collection but thought if it could be found anywhere it'd be here!
