Mat, one part of NavSOG training was to make a truck load of naked trainees cross a very crowded street to the next block -- without being noticed by even a single bystander.

What's the principle of this training? Cover and concealment? Blending with the environment?

If it involves OpSec, don't answer it. Thanks, anyways.

You might have NavSOG confused w/ a fraternity hazing.

Naaah. CJ's comment made more sense. E&E with nothing on. Eventually, the trainees have to come up with ideas about how to stay away from attention -- stealing washed clothes hanging from clotheslines was one of them.

    OK. Noted.

It was probably one of those things that instructors come up among themselves and not a standard method of testing the trainees.

I can't see the Navy endorsing theft of civilian property as part of training.
