Nope, that's the one MOH game I didn't buy. Only tried the demo. I think I spent my money on COD:Modern Warfare instead.
Might be worth trying to find it - it should be pretty cheap.
It's rather arcadey, especially towards the end (MG42-toting übermenschen...), but by no means is it a bad game. The whole parachuting in and BF-like respawns were an interesting alternative to the norm - they didn't 'break' the game, either (as so many new concepts often do).

Is that good or bad? I used to have an old PC game that dealt with capital ship battles, but can't remember the name. Played it for hours.
i loved the first one, and dont get me wrong im really enjoying the demo, but something doesnt feel right. im going to buy it anyways.

BS: Midway was good just that the single player campaign was a bit too short, this time for BS: Pacific they put in lots more vehicles and lots of improvements on the visual effects. On the gameplay it feels more or less the same as BS: Midway, controlling fighter plane with mouse was a bit tricky, in addition to that the enemy can kamikaze on your ships so fleet air defense is also priority.
I just finished the American campaign and haven't started on the Japanese campaign yet, but I am expected to see some outrageous one-way-ticket type ships and planes, and of course the Yamato.
Versus with 7 friends = best times that can be had.
