Sounds like a solid plan. Just did the 3rd mission of the Marine campaign where you are supposed to guard the flank. I wiped out the Syrian attack after nearly losing an entire platoon to miraculous mortar fire from their FO, but i still suffered a tactical defeat so who knows. I'll just try again. Nice to know, this whole time i was having 1st and 3rd clear out the Airfield HQ and the Barracks while 2nd took the SF HQ with all the 105's. I would use the 81's on the square shaped building in front of the SF HQ and manage to take 3 blocks down. But then there would be an AT crew or something that was just hiding and waiting till i drop the ramps of my Strykers.
Yeah, once i try to clear a room/building i lose around 3 guys for every one of theirs, and thats if i got them suppressed. I think im going to smoke the enterence right before they enter, maybe that will give them a chance.
Anyhow, there are some good single missions from the Marines, enjoy them

Been playing Red Orchestra and finally figured out how to take some screenshots. Here is one from a round of Arad. Shot this guy and he dropped a grenade which blew me up in return.

Finished the new Medal of Honor, fun to play, but only 4,5h of single player - a bit disappointing tbh. Oh, and I got killed in a scripted cut-scene, no idea how, but when I re-loaded the game, the burning helicopter flew over me and managed not to hit me.
Well I just got done with the most horrid round of tanking in any Red Orchestra match I've ever been in. I was in a JS2 for a good 95% of the match and every time I put a round on a German tank it would bounce. In return every German return fire crippled my tank taking half the health, and then the following round would knock me out! Front armor penetration too boot! Only got one kill out of 45 minutes of play and that was 5 minutes before the match ended and my JS2's armor was actually doing its job. When I didn't roll in a JS2 but in a T34/85, I got 2 flank shots into a stug and that didn't even cause it to blow. Soon a tiger rolls up, I turn to face it and begin to try and slug it out. Then the stug meanwhile had turned to face me and knocks me out.
I would post Screenshots of the new BF play for free beta but it sounds like EA would kill me if I did. Boohoo.
It sucks btw.
Remember to angle your tank. angle it so your turret is at 11 or 1 o'clock and you will deflect most shots.
I got in the beta as well.....played about 10 mins and then uninstalled it. Absolutely horrid

Also depends on your server. I once played on a Russian server (German side) and we finally figured out that the mod the Russian clan made had messed with the armour values so they were in their favor.
I always see people complain about the Play4Free performance. I don't understand how EA screwed up, isn't it the same engine as Battlefield 2?
