I just conquered everything with Shogun 2, that was easy![]()
Got surprise buttsechsed by a full Takeda stack when I moved on Awa(apparently the Miyoshi had allied with them and the Takeda had landed on the northern Miyoshi territory)...
Its like Left4Dead out here
Well its like 28 Later over here
Are we in the same Apocalypse?
4 different endings depending which character you select at the end (and thus which game they steal the plan from)
Shot up a Sogo samurai retainer unit duing my siege of Sanuki(The sogo were out giving the Miyoshi a hard time, so I grabbed the opportunity and went for Sanuki, which was defended by this lone retainer unit and a yari ashigaru unit) Notice the guy in the middle is riddled with arrowsHe was the last of the retainer unit and two of my archery units opened up on him at the same time.
My men scaling the walls
My archers right before loosing a volley
My commander dissing the Sogo
Hm, i never really liked that type of "genre" games.. But, i might actually give that game a try. It does look good .
Have you played a Total War game before? If not, you're in for a surprise. No campaign evolves the same way(in my previous campaign the Miyoshi and the Sogo were allies, now they were fighting)Also: The AI cheats.
Like I said, the AI cheats. Also: Realm Divide is just unfair.
Nice. But, my problem in games like that - is that i always get attacked when i am building up my "army" so i usually dies..
If you're a republic aim for a guy with high diplomacy stats. Outside of that, spend magistrates to up your cultural tradition, and then buy a high level (5-6 star) diplomat adviser.
Try not to get to that high level in the first place - those are called badboy wars, when your infamy is so high it makes others declare war on you, and then your badboy goes even higher.
Also, USE THE HOLY WAR CB, or any CBs for that matter. If you can avoid it, do not Declare War with no CB! Also, try to take land only from the country who the CB was issued to - countries who joined said victim in the alliance dont have a CB on them, so you'll get massive infamy for taking even one province (+4 PER uncored province).
The info I got from the official xbox magazine seemed pretty good.
You have to fight both zombies and special forces, and you can kill the special forces and cause blood which then sends the zombies toward the special forces instead of you. Then the whole zombies spot you by sight, smell, and sound sounds cool.
Also the fact that you can basically change the resident evil storyline depending on what happens. ie you can kill characters like Leon.
After thinking about it I think it sounds really good if they pull it off well. I'm not worried that its a shooter instead of survival horror. Idk about ammo counts but according to what I read the makers said the game was "giving the player a big gun and actually letting him use it"
Just ordered my parts for my gaming rig from NewEgg. Can't wait to play Shogun, you bastards have been taunting me with your screens.
