So are the accusations of the units being "rock/paper/scissors" in game play true?
Oh and how successful has the MP co-op been?
I am frigging sweating here waiting for my computer parts, can't wait.

Just had battle in Rome:TW with three gallic armies that came from out of thin air. And it was third turn of campaign. :P But Roman soldiers are tough, and I managed to win. Watching youtube videos of "PrinceOfMacedon" dude, helped me with polishing my strategy.
Maybe nothing to be proud of, since it's medium difficulty.
Also I had problems with Medieval 2. Is it normal for cavalry to stop charging just before enemy? I tend to use charge, wilthdraw, charge tactic. It works wonderfully in Rome, but here I have my mounted units do strange maneuvers.
Gah, just got bitchslapped by the Hatatekayama when I tried to invade.. Thought it would be the best move, since they were at odds with the Takeda and most of northern japan.... How is fielding an army(i'm not even sure it was most of their units) 1,5 times as big as 60-65% of my forces, 'moderate' power? What were they planning on doing with that force before I invaded? They were pissed at the Urakami, but the game gave no indication of them actually duking it out.
Yes, cavalry behave like retards in Medieval 2. Just get Stainless Steel mod, better than Vanilla in every way, and the cavalry charges are fixed (as well as grossly powerful).
Well i do find combat more difficult in Shogun then it was in Rome or Empire. And i cant really say why. It is still a great game tough. I have now 8 provicnes under my control (the most i have had) and now i'm getting into serious trouble being attacked from all sides, the AI does seem to cheat on making units etc.
I bet the money script is around again- gives the AI free cash if their treasury drops below a certain amount. Look for the script in the text files, and change it. Worked in SS.
Bit shocked, you got Realm Divide at 8 provinces? I'm playing the long campaign and have 5 ATM. So I could be just 3 provinces away from the Shogunate deciding the Chosokabe ass was itching for some kicking.. I don't particularly like the idea of the Takeda rolling through central Japan, getting amped up for my imminent steamrolling(BTW: How the flying pelican F do the Takeda get so powerful, in my campaign they have just 1(admittedly large)province ATM)
Is this suddenly "screenshots of alternate medieval history thread" ?:P
Post MOAR, then argue. Check the steam MPN group, Shogun 2 is by far the most played game right now.
