So I'm not as drunk as I hoped and I threw together a little battle in Arma2, having successfully figured out some of the stuff that has been added since OFP and feeling nostalgic for M1 Tank Platoon II.
I made a tank company mission to attack a Takistani defensive line in Zargabad. I used the supreme commander module-thing to control the company.

I was eventually dismounted after taking about five 100mm rounds in the ass from a T-55 I bypassed and never saw. My wingman eventually got him, and I waited around for the company support column to arrive and ENDEX.
You just sold me on ARMA2
It's seriously a great game. I loved OFP, hated Arma, and only got Arma2 after I got back from Iraq and saw the combo pack on Steam for, like, $10. It's well worth it, even if I'd bought it full price.
I suggest the combined ops bundle if you can get it. It comes with all the new stuff.
try ACE2 mod, it's great!
There are, like, 500 versions of that mod and I have no idea what they do or which ones I need. Is there a complete one?
