Close Combat invasion Normandy.![]()
My set up..
You just have to put a sniper in the Church Tower, its mandatory.
Pinning down the advancing US airborn infantry. Note, Top left is a US Mortar team, Top right one of my squads lurking in the bushes.![]()
then things got so intense that i forgot to take screenshots, after all it was in a campaign game.
one more picture tho.
The bloody americans take out my last tank in this unit (freaking bazook) with only 58s left of the battle. Also, you can see my squad that was lurking in the bushes a while ago, they took out the mortar team in hand to hand combat.
oh, and my mortars ran out of ammo btw.![]()

Much appreciated.
Unless you are a die hard realism fanatic stick to OFP.
For the cost of VBS1 compared to OFP the differences between can not justify the additional cost of VBS1
EDIT:
VBS1 is a better product though. I'm not denying that. But OFP GOTY edition is good enough for the casual gamer.
btw that was the mod version of the game they won nvidias make something unreal contest and won the ut2004 engine.
