You sound like a Michael Bay fan, dazzled by all the awesome explosions and cgi that are meant to distract you from the crappy storyline. Then at the end you say, "that was teh best movie evar!!" Afterward you point at a show like Firefly and say "that show has bad graphics, therefore it sucks."
has anyone played "The Polynomial" ? It is freaking addicting, and like 3 bucks on steam right now. It uses music and factals to animate a world in which you shoot things down. its an action packed space shooter that is great for a quick fix.
HoI III "The Entire Collection" is about 12 bucks right now if anyone is interested.
Also, I'd like opinions on the Cossacks series as well. It looks great and reminds me a lot of the older strategy games.

actually I always was a huge fan of a good story - I've even played text only adventures every now and then.
This doesn't mean I don't feel disappointed if a game I've had high hopes in doesn't fully deliver.
Had they implemented more fluent animation and maybe higher quality graphics it would definitely benefit the whole experience.
what is name of that flame spell? I need it for sure
Yeah the screenshots are from a netstorm remake project
