Nope. Even if I play the standard game it always says "Religion is Off" in the top bar.

This is quite strange, I checked out their forums and didn't see anything about it. Maybe reinstall, and set up a custom game first and see if that fixes?

I didn't like the demo, but they released it for free on PSN+ and I fell in love. MP mode is awesome. SP is quite good - nice voice-acting for a slasher game. Is dreadnought DLC worth the money?

The ArmA community is run by a mature set of players. It always has been. That's what separates it from the other military game communities. You can not deny that Dayz has attracted a certain set of players that never gave a shit about the realism, difficulty, a cooperation of ArmA until zombies were added. It's getting a lot of backlash from senior players who don't want their favorite game to turn into another CoD with gimmick features.
