Someone was suicide bombing out of a clown car the other night, I'm trying to figure out how it works.
Sorry I meant Wireless not Satellite.
This happens to be a super secret communist plot against the devil capitalist pigs, unfortunetley I cannot say more comrades...It also ended badly, I clipped my rotors..
Nice, I've yet to try NVG flying. Looks pretty well implemented
Yah it was a bit more difficult, but what was a lot harder, was combat. As I still am far from being good at that during the DAY!![]()
Black Shark is really good, as long as you have a programmable joystick....which I don't.......yet !!
Yes, it seems like almost a must, I broke down quite quickly and bought a saitek X52, mainly for the secondary throttle. Still assigning buttons as I go, and get more familiar, my most recent is the skhval camera is assigned to a POV hat's on the throttle, so combat can be done without touching the keyboard....so far![]()
Yeah having a decent joystick goes without saying really. This is a realistic simulator, more than a game.
My TrackIR arrived and wow, simply awesome. I can use the helmet mounted sight with my head, i.e. all I have to do is look in the direction of my target and designate it
Same thing when turning etc, the game feels much more dynamic now with real head movement. Coupled with my MS Force Feedback 2, truly awesome flying experience.
I actually just watched the training mission using the Helmet Mounted device to track with the shvkal and then subsequently using it to designate targets. I'll admit now that I want Track IR lol, but also rudder pedals...But I'm going to wait till I get better at it before I go crazy. Also the fact that you can use the helmet sight and shkval in conjunction with the ABRIS to mark spots on the nav map I think, I know for a fact that you can see where the shkval is pointing atleast.
Yeah I'm at that tutorial, the datalink one. Very nifty feature
