just received mine and now testing on NFS: Shift

first actual run with TrackIR so its a bit jarring.

kinda nauseating in the beginning. 5 min later, started focusing on the car in front vs car trying to pass. Instead of looking directly at the car, I would lean in to the side mirrors

Once in the lead, it does increase your view into the apex (???) of the turn, so this gives me a better judgement on how much steer to put.

I quick run on DiRT2, it helps when drifting or performing a "flick"....the rough rides and the tighter road + head bobbing can be immersive or nauseating.

No flying game here. Might try ARMA2 on the weekend....maybe after some ginger-gum

I know about F3nexus but i wonder, is there anyone here who can give me like top 5 mods that need to have to get 200 % additional fun.
    You're a spectacularly lazy bastard.

    Code:

I've put it in code tags, so you at least have to copy/paste it.

Ah! Thought so! And oh... well I drop by from time to time to the BFC site. I usually reside over at Gamesquad though.

Have you tried CM:Shock Force? It has a Brit and NATO module, or is modern warfare not your thing?
I tried the demo when it first came out. I figured it was gonna be bugged and not up to snuff so I never bought it. Though from the videos I've been seeing on Youtube (especially with the Nato module) seem to show that it's improved. Have the demo on my comp but have yet to fire it up. And oh modern warfare is my thing but I was not to happy with the setting initially but once they started adding in the NATO module I've taken more interest in it.

    Cool video btw.
Glad you liked it! I plan on making more

It is fun stuff isn't it? I have mine set to fairly high sensitivity so it is very small head movements, I should change it though, because as I start to play the game more and more, I get into it more.

Head movements becomes more apparent, and I end up speeding past what I was trying to look at instead of looking at it. Still fun though. At least in Arma 2 you don't need to glue your fingers to ALT which can get very annoying very quick.

thanks for the tip, I'm not sure how to adjust the settings, and what thresholds per game.

Click on the profile tab and you'll find all the games there, you can edit them individually for how sensitive you want them.

Will answer you're question regarding the AI

Whilst it's not as die hard of a simulation of the Geoff Crammond Grand Prix series or Grand Prix Legends it does do a bloody good job at immersing the player into a grand prix. Whilst it's not a true simulator I'm enjoying it thoroughly.

My only gripe is that the damage model could be improved and I've yet to experience a mechanical problem other then punctures.
I have it on xbox and play Grand Prix mode only simulation on full. Currently 12 people including me from where I work have our own season going it was £10 to enter and at the end of the season top 3 get the money split in to amounts per position. We race every 2 weeks at 20% race distance everything on fuel, tire wear etc... we just done Monaco was a nightmare for taking over and damaging your car.

The gore in Dragon Age can be pretty epic

    Slaying a Dragon:

    Slaying a Mage:

This Ogre picked up my tank and started bashing him in the face:

I used to, but in my opinion the online gameplay is like vBF2 but with WWII stuff. Lots of bunnyhopping, camping, full auto spraying from the hip, etc. The tanks are quite awesome though, just beware of the people who adjust their graphics to see right through foliage.

Nah, Dragon Age. A Bioware game (they make the best RPGs).

It's single player only, and it is a fantastic game. Great engaging story and interactive NPCs, etc.

Dragon Age is actually quite hard. First game through on "normal" I really struggled at times. It's really all about the tactics you use. I have my NPC's set up so well now that I barely have to manage them. For example (my Mage/Healer):

What this means is that she will heal herself with a potion first if she is damaged, she will then heal allies with her spell. If an ally is close to death she will cast some protective spells on them. If one of my party members dies, she will revive them.
If we encounter very tough enemies, elites or bosses, she will use some of her more powerful abilities, and if there is a group she will cast a spell on the main boss that immoblizes it, giving us time to deal with all the weaker additional monsters.
    Otherwise she just attacks.

With setups like this, your party members act like real humans a lot of the time. It makes the game A LOT easier and a lot more enjoyable.
